Community Harbor Masters (CHM)

CHMs are the local representatives of the Lifeboat Protocol Consortium™. They build relationships with businesses, recruit CHM Assistants to lead the Community's Entrepreneuial & Adventure Youth Club The Waves, coordinate local MEH preparedness initiatives, and help strengthen the connection between resilient businesses and resilient communities. Their mission is simple: To ensure that the businesses within and about their communities are welcomed as an integral member of the community.

The Role of the Community Harbormaster
Every successful harbor has someone watching the tides before the storm arrives. In every resilient community, that person is the Community Harbormaster. Lifeboat Protocol's CHMs build trusted relationships with businesses, coordinate MEH preparedness efforts, support CHM Assistants with The Waves, and help ensure their communities are ready before adversity strikes.

Building Relationships
HCMs connect local businesses, civic organizations, and community leaders into a resilient network that works together before, during, and after emergencies.

🤝Supporting LPC Community  Revenue  Objectives

CHMs work with businesses to promote their presence in the community,ensure the Waves have table space in front of each business, host community & LPCs MEH preparedness Events and Activities, and discover opportunities to strengthen both.

 

🧭 Coordinating the Network

Working alongside the Navigati™, CHMs ensure businesses know where to turn for guidance, MEH preparedness resources, and strategic support.

 

🛟 Preparing Before the Storm
Whether facing economic uncertainty, natural disasters, or other challenges, CHMs strive to ensure everyone feels welcome and no one is left alone.
